Le Boulou is a pretty Catalan village situated in the Pyrenees Orientales department of the Languedoc Roussillon region. It is famous for its natural spa which attracts many tourists to the village with a permanent population of just 6,000 people. The village also has a casino and is only 8km from the beaches at Argeles, Collioure and St Cyprien while the Pyrenees are just a short drive away where you can go hiking, mountain biking and skiing amongst other things. Le Boulou is easy to get to as its just 20 km from Perpignan airport and there is also a new TGV line at Perpignan.
