Le Lavandou is a very sought after seaside resort in the Var department at the foot of the Massif des Maures. It has over 12km of sandy beach with small wild inlets and offers a wide variety of water sports and beautiful scenery. Le Lavandou used to be a small fishing port facing the Iles d’Or (Golden Islands) but today is now a major international marina and sport fishing port but also a great spot for many divers to examine its colourful marine life.
