The 19th arrondissement is one of the 20 arrondissements that make up the city of Paris and is located on the right bank of the River Seine. It is crossed by the Canal St Denis and the Canal de l’Ourcq which meet near the Parc de la Villette. In this park there is the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie (a mueum and exhibition centre) and the Conservatoire de Paris (one of the best known music schools in Europe). There is also another park in the 19th called Parc des Buttes Chaumont. This arrondissement is not particularly popular with tourists as it does not have that much to offer in terms of sites to see.

The price of property here is inexpensive compared to many of Paris’s other arrondissements and you are looking at between 7,000 to 9,000 Euros/m2 on average. If budget is your main concern then the 19th could be a good option.
