Quiberon is a commune of the Morbihan department, in the region of Bretagne. It is situated on a peninsula, the Presqu'île de Quiberon. It is primarily known as a seaside resort for the French during summer, and for its history of sardine production. Also It has some attractive beaches on the sheltered eastern coast. The port has itself a lively atmosphere. There are a number of great restaurants located here, many with an excellent reputation for sea food.
