Saint-Augustin
Saint Augustin Sur Mer is a small village in Charente Maritime in SW France, about 8km from Royan and 4km from Saint Palais centre. It has a town hall, tourist office, church, bakery, resturant/pizzeria, mini-supermarket, newsagents, hairdressers and more. The village is on the edge of a large forest and so has many cycling, hiking and horse-riding trails to follow and is just 2km from the famous 18 hole Royan Golf course. The sandy beaches are roughly 3 to 4 km away.
