Anglet

Anglet (Basque Angelu, Gascon Anglet) is a French commune situated in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department and the Aquitaine region. It is in the traditional Basque province of Labourd.
It is located at 5 min away from the Biarritz airport operated by Ryanair.
Anglet is a large commercial town, with two coastal quartiers "Chiberta and Chambre d'Amour", both with long expanses of sandy surfing beaches which are part of the Cote Basque. Anglet centre (located between the two large towns of Biarritz 5kms South and Bayonne 3kms North, with all three forming what is called locally the BAB (Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz)) still holds its original Village charm, with the church and the Mairie on a large paved square. 1Km North of the old village is large commercial centre, which has several large hypermarkets (supermarkets) where you can buy everything.
