Biarritz
Located in the Pyrenees Atlantiques department, Bayonne and Biarritz are nestled in a region heavily influenced by Basque settlers, most evidently in Bayonne with its tall half-timbered colombage houses with green and red painted woodwork. This Basque culture is proudly displayed through the continued use of the Basque language, the lively atmosphere and the sport “pelota”. Bayonne has its own airport and benefits from cheap flights from within Europe providing easy access to this area of France. Biarritz is less commercial but has plenty of shops, restaurants and a casino to keep you entertained and is becoming very fashionable once again with Parisians and celebrities. This area is also the surfing capital of France and possesses some beautiful long sandy beaches as well as some small quiet ones tucked away near the Vieux Port.عقارات للإيجار في Biarritz
These exclusive towns are busy during the summer months allowing for easy rental income but, as with any popular resorts, property for sale in Biarritz and Bayonne is expensive - nothing like the Cote d’Azur but is certainly not a place to come if you are on a small budget. The climate here is warm and attracts many French buyers; international buyers tend to head further inland where cheaper properties can be secured and renovation property exists.
