Affieux
Located in the Correze department, the town and surrounding area of Correze is situated in the south of the Limousin region and has been popular with tourists for a while now - not least because it is very close to the Dordogne departement but with more competitive property prices. Away from the pollution and hectic nature of any cities this is a tranquil area set amongst beautiful countryside and full of culture. Interesting areas to visit include the Vallee de la Dordogne with its rivers meandering through charming small villages, Uzerche with its Roman style chateaux and churches and Turenne for its fabulous views of the Cantal Mountains.

Rentals do well in the period from June to August in the Correze area due to the tourist trade and are therefore good for buy to let. It is seen as a very pleasant place to live or spend weekends and holidays and is popular with foreigners wishing to set up shop and start a tourist business.
