Saint-Palais-sur-Mer
Saint Palais Sur Mer is a small village in Charente Maritime in SW France, about 5km from Royan and 4km from Saint Augustin centre. It is a very popular seaside resort with a much more boutique feel than its larger neighbouring seaside town of Royan. There is a large selection of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and a couple of nightclubs. It borders the forest and has a wide sandy beach which attarcts tens of thousands of holiday makers every year.
