La Croix Valmer is situated on the Cote d’Azur in the Var, south of France in the Gulf of St Tropez between Le Lavendou and St Maxime. It is a traditional Provencal seaside village that has kept much of its charm and character despite being a popular tourist location. It is renowned for the quality of its swimming waters and its fine sandy beaches- the best known of all being Gigaro beach. The green village of La Croix Valmer is backed against a dramatic cliff setting and set amongst 220 hectares of protected nature reserves making it an idyllic place to relax and spend your holidays. It has a good selection of hotels, bars, restaurants and shop sbut also a cinema and night clubs. Outdoor activities here include water sports, golf at Beauvallon, tennis, bike riding, bowling, horse riding and hiking. It is also an excellent location from which to explore the rest of Provence, its countryside, vineyards and culture.
