Montgenèvre
Montgenevre is located in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Cottian Alps, at the top of the “Col de Montgenevre”. The resort itself has just 65km of slopes; however, it is also linked to the Via Lattea ski area which has no less than 400km of slopes so Montgenevre still acts as a good base for skiers. The slopes are located at between 1860m and 2,680m and usually have a good snow record.
The resort is family friendly with an ice-rink, though quite a quiet night-life. Summer activities include golf (18 holes), mountain biking, kayaking and rafting.

Access is easy with Briancon train station just a short bus journey away and Turin and Grenoble airports are just 1h30 and 2h30 away respectively by car.
