Angers
Located in the Maine et Loire department, this ancient agricultural town is known for its flowers, wines and liquors and sits in the centre of the Pays de la Loire region just above the Maine River. It has an impressive castle and splendid Gothic architecture to peruse. This, coupled with the reasonable price of property for sale in Angers and with a good rental market, makes it a good place to invest. Its mild climate attracts plenty of tourists each year and has in fact been voted as best French city for three years running.
